Based in the Gravel Cycling Mecca that is Canada’s National Capital Region, Brendan Gorman created Gravel Cup to share his passion for gravel riding, and to provide a platform for gravel cycling enthusiasts to explore new routes, and challenge themselves on a variety of gravel genres. He’s spent countless hours literally lost in the woods, curating the best gravel routes that Ottawa and it’s surrounding counties have to offer. We are proud to present THE CANADA GRAVEL CUP SERIES. The Gravel Cup is a gravel cycling series open to both recreational and competitive cyclists. Taking place in a Gravel Cycling Mecca, the routes take riders on primarily gravel and unmaintained roads in Canada’s National Capital Region and surrounding counties. Events are self-supported and open to both licensed and un-licensed riders of all experience levels. While riders should be self-reliant, the events do include:

Medals/Podium Presentation for each category
The series consists of 7 events offering an "EPIC" course and a shorter "ADVENTURE" course. Participants accumulate points for every EPIC course event completed. Riders, (Female and Male) accumulating the most points at the end of the series will be crowned the Canada Gravel Cup Champion, will have their name inscribed into history on the coveted GRAVEL CUP, and take home the final series leaders jersey.

Whitewater Brewing Company was founded by three good friends in 2011 on the banks of the Mighty Ottawa River. The three of us have had many adventures that have taken us from the incredible rivers of Ontario & Quebec to the mountain-fed creeks of British Columbia, from the deep canyons of the Colorado River, to the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. One constant that has remained strong throughout this journey is our return to the heart of the Ottawa Valley to share our great adventures with great friends.
Our epiphany came on a rafting trip: The Ottawa Valley was already home to some of the best natural ingredients involved in creating true hand-crafted beer, as well as great people deserving of a local beer to share with friends. Whitewater Brewing Company was conceived. The next three and a half years took a lot of hard work, learning and living out of vehicles to get to where we are today.
