Canada’s unofficial National Gravel Championships is back for it’s 2nd Edition. While some will be racing for the championship, the route caters to adventurers who want to experience the best of gravel in one course.

Summer maintained, unmaintained, treed gravel, stonedust rail trail, rugged rail trail and open gravel through picturesque farmfields. A spectacular 34km loop in McNab/Braeside hosted in the post card setting of McGregors Orchard awaits racers and adventurers.

The only questions is will you be doing the 3 lap Challenge Ride or the one lap Sport Ride where an extra lap is up to you? We bet you’ll go for it!

Back after a few years hiatus the “Rube-Eh?” lives again. The Gravel Cup’s foray into Southern Ontario uses the best gravel the City of Kawartha Lakes has to offer.

The Somerville Tract ATV Trail, the Victoria County Rail Trail and the epic Iron Mine Road will offer an epic experience to racer and adventurer alike. Some more recon must be done before the courses are finalized. Only the very best possible courses will do.

The village of Calabogie hosts the 4th leg of the 2020 Gravel Cup. In the picturesque setting of the Opeongo Mountains and Calabogie Lake, this event includes a number of beautiful unmaintained roads, gravel roads and asphalt that meandar around Hurds Lake and the mighty Madawaska River.

The finish uses the challenging Spruce Hedge Road that narrows into an adventurous ATV Trail on the way back to Calabogie.

R3G3 is a new genre for Gravel Cup. It is a proper Gravel Grinder with a challenging scenic route, taking you over some incredible terrain that Renfrew has to offer. This will be an awesome experience on and off the bike, with some notable Gravel Pros participating and a festive atmosphere celebrating the local and Gravel community.

Event includes ATV support, aid stations, chip timing, and post race food and beverages.

The Randonneur moves into the Town of Renfrew for 2020. Details are still being finalized but exciting routes are planned for the Gravel Cups first 2020 foray into Renfrew County. Using a spectacular network of gravel roads in the foothills of the Madawaska Highlands the routes take the scenic K&P Trail back to Renfrew finishing on a trail leading to the Ma-te-Way Recreation Complex.

The Spring Runoff is back again sending racers and adventurers alike over the best gravel and paved roads of the West Carleton area of Ottawa. KIN Vineyards plays host again to this popular event where weather conditions can be a big factor.

Will the snow have melted enough to use the Needhams Side Rd unmaintained climb? Will a light dusting of snow the night before cause the participants to experience the epic conditions of being covered head to toe in mud like last year?

Exciting new courses are planned for 2020 incorporating more off the beaten path roads and, as always a picturesque view of the Gatineau Hills and Ottawa River on the return.
